Summertime teacher practice

To my second graders, and their families,

I warned you that you would be my guinea pigs.  Hopefully you will see some things that work this time.  Please leave me a blog if you can.  Mrs. Bailey

Stink Bug Funeral

504The math lesson came to a crashing halt.  When I thought everyone was with me, all of a sudden a stink bug ran across the floor.  Stink bug was put in a jar and we got back to math.  The next day stink bug had passed.  The students planned a funeral on the playground.   Ryan conducted the service.

Welcome to my blog.

Welcome to our second grade blog.  We hope that you will enjoy a sneek peek of some things we’ve been doing this year.  You will also be able to find links to places on the net we like to visit.  Some of these sites are educational and some are entertaining.  Please be patient, as this is work in progress.
